Horse Shows in the Park has expanded to Hilton Head, South Carolina at the invitation of the Rose Dhu Creek Equestrian Center in Bluffton, South Carolina. The Equestrian Center - managed by Eddie and Kate Maple - will be host of the first HSITP show on February 27,28 to offer 2 days of competition in their covered and outdoor arenas. Rose Dhu's one page program and program booklet are now on this website.  We look forward to getting to know the folks in the Hilton Head area and are excited about this opportunity to bring our show's top flight quality and attention to detail to Rose Dhu Creek. Sad Notes for HSITP Dressage Competitors...due to the Brevard County's Wickham Park Equestrian Centers inability to commit to a date for the installation of the footing in the second arena - (the arena is built, the base is in, the fence is up, they just need the rubber topping now) all plans have been cancelled for the USEF/USDF dressage shows scheduled to have taken place there this spring and fall.  HSITP can't book judges, pay airfare and take on the significant fees associated with placement of the nationally recognized shows there if there's no commitment on the part of the park or County itself to make it happen. The USEF/USDF Fall Dressage Classic will  take place in September at a yet to be disclosed location elsewhere out of Brevard County, however that show's date has now transitioned solely to Gayle Witty and Orlando Dressage, Inc. Jeanne Winslow and Horse Shows in the Park, LLC will be sponsoring a number of awards at Gayle's Fall show in September and we look forward to seeing everyone there!

HSITP will continue to utilize Wickham Park's Equestrian Center for the hunter/jumper shows. The stalls are lovely - and our last show was well attended. We have another show scheduled for February 13th and are already receiving stall reservations from Orlando and Brevard County barns...so the next show promises to be quite fun!

Due to on-going quality issues associated with the on line entry feature - we will be taking a step back to a simpler time, to now require all entry forms to be completed and faxed to the show fax at 321-978-0231. It seems that such a significant # of folks over the last 4 shows were letting us know upon arrival in the show office that they'd submitted an on line pre-entry but we'd not received it - that we're just unable to use it at this point.  We really need to know you're coming so that we can plan appropriately for ring utilization, staffing and stabling....and the pre-entry deadline helps us do just that.  Following our receipt of a completed, faxed entry form - we'll send you an email in confirmation --- so remember to put your email on the form. The next few days will also see a "fillable entry form" that you can type into, print and fax to us in order to improve readibility....

Jump orders are being taken for brick walls, rock walls, gates and flower boxes if you need any to round out your courses at home... they are quite reasonable and trainer-friendly...If you're interested, please email Jeanne at pwinslow1@cfl.rr.com or give her a call. She can send over some pictures and pricing via email and will be getting some up on this site soon. Lately, they haven't been staying around long enough to get a picture!!

HSITP wishes their many riders and competitors good fortune and high ribbons as they compete in the many USEF rated venues available to them this winter...we will return to Canterbury in Newberry Florida on March 27 and 28 and again to the Jacksonville venue on April 17 and 18. And.. don't forget the fun Weirsdale (southeast of Ocala) circuit of shows that begin to happen again starting April 10,11...programs for all can be found on this website and in the 2010 Exhibitor's Guide.
