Hunter/Jumper Pre-Circuit Shows. Held at Rocking Horse Stables, Altoona Florida off or SR 19, just north of 441 and Umatilla – and just 20 minutes south of Ocala. 2 Full days of Pre-Circuit divisions designed to give exhibitors an opportunity to show over quality fences in a professional show environment. Experienced show management, with an emphasis on exhibitor-friendliness, service and value…Perfect for those who are showing in rated shows and want a break from the high cost – as well as those who aspire or plan on making the transition to a rated environment…

Our Prizes and awards are phenomenal for FHCA members….Champion and Reserve ribbons awarded in each division, each day. New this year is the $3000 TCS Saddlery Hunter Invitational Classic —Featuring $3000 in prize money, the Classics will take place on Saturday December 10, The Classics will consist of the 25 highest scored rounds in each of the qualifiers in Children’s Hunters, Junior/Am Adult Hunters, and Regular Working Hunters held throughout the year. Competitors are not limited to entering once to qualify—and may enter at each show in order to improve their scores and vie for selection within the top 25. The top 25 Horses and/or Ponies in Children’s Hunters, Junior/Am Adult Hunters and Regular Working Hunters will compete for $1000 in each category.
The Finals Classics will be 2 rounds scored open numerically. First rounds will take place in the morning and will be followed by a call back of the top 12 for the second round (lowest to highest ) . The combination of the two scores (round one plus round two) will make up for the overall total classic score. Qualifier Entry Fee $25.00. At each show, a nice award will be provided to the winner of each Qualifier.

Also new this year – the show will ask for proper show attire (jacket, boots/breeches) please, but no braiding and polo shirts are just find for walk trotters and our jumper exhibitors. 2-3 rings running concurrently each day. Trainers – give your customers a showing experience they’ll want to come back to time after time – and see how we’ve raised the standards for the unrecognized show here in Florida. PAC approved, FHTA sanctioning applied for. Hunter/Jumper specific judges used. FHCA membership reasonable and a great value. 100+ stalls available, in permanent quality stabling with bedding supplied. 150 beautiful acres on the edge of the Ocala National Forest – Rocking Horse has been the winter stabling headquarters for Karen and David O’Connor – and the site of past Olympic Selection Eventing Trials. Pre-entry requested. FHCA members who place in/at this show are eligible for year end circuit awards. The Altoona, Rocking Horse FHCA Horse Shows in the Park shows are considered a separate “circuit” of shows from the FHCA schooling shows held in Melbourne/Wickham Park….
